Steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. Triamcinolone is a synthetic fluorinated glucocorticoid 5 times stronger than cortisol, without mineralocorticoid effect (sodium retention), and with prolonged action due to the accompanying salt.

Dogs and cats: as depot corticosteroid: 0.1 to 0.2 mg/kg SC or IM (1 mL every 30-60 kg) every 15 days. Intra-articular: 1 mg e/1 cm lesion every 15 days .
